Second Annual Discover Abilities Expo Recap

Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute‘s Second Annual Discover Abilities Expo was held on Saturday, May 18 at the University of Minnesota Recreation and Wellness Center. Around 600 community members came out to learn more about local adaptive sport options from nearly 70 vendors!

Community members were able to chat with vendor representatives, participate in demos and learn from local experts on various topics at panels. See photos at the Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute Facebook page.

Paul’s Pals Executive Director, Jennifer Lewin, moderated the Accessible Arts and Creating Sensory Friendly Environments panels throughout the day. Lewin and Paul’s Pals Accessible Play Specialist, Dana Millington, spoke on the Community Supporters for Recreation panel.
